The brief I was given was to make an animated short without using words to tell the narrative. We had to retell either a storybook, legend or urban myth. I decided that I was going to retell the story of Beauty and the Beast; but change the genders of the main character’s.

The theme for my dissertations that I was investigating: was the conflict between the practice of traditional analogue animation and digital animation.

In this project I Created a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro using 3D animation software Auto desk Maya. And then I composited the Car to blend within a static background; using Adobe After Effects.

This project was a live brief with a producer from a graphics company; who were tasked in creating the annual Christmas light show in Eastbourne, know to the locals as "Neon Noel".
